OIG Exclusion: All staff screened against OIG/SAM exclusion lists before hire and annually
Min. Training: 16 hours supervised practical training required before independent client care
Elder Abuse Reporting: Ala. Code § 38-9-8 — Mandatory reporters must contact DHR APS: 1-800-458-7214
Workers' Comp: Alabama Workers' Compensation Act § 25-5-1 et seq.
At-Will Employment: Alabama is an at-will state. No handbook creates an employment contract.
